In 1923, Mollie & Sidney Ball opened their first store. Although they offered all of the basic neccesities even back then, in 1942 Mollie began the tradition of offering something more, something different.

World War II had broken out, and newly-employed mothers and wives were struggling to find the time to make dinner for their families. Mollie provided take-home meatloaf dinners that soon became famous throughout the neighborhood.

Try Our Incredible Mollie B's Brisket, BBQ Sauce and Pound Cake!

Kansas City,as most people know, is home to some of the best barbeque in the country. The specialties here are beef brisket and pork ribs. We decided to start with brisket and wow!!, the results really are incredible! We're delighted to have our own company smokehouse, presided over by our own well-seasoned smoke master, Floyd Reynolds. Floyd personally selects the finest USDA inspected, corn-fed beef briskets, which he carefully seasons with Mollie's sweet barbecue rub and then, smokes them over naturally aged hickory wood for 16 hours!! The meat is tender and totally infused with this unbelievable smoke flavor; it's so good it's almost a shame to sauce it but we do happen to have an amazing sauce; Mollie B's Incredible Smokin' Chipolte BBQ Sauce; a perfectly balanced, sweet and smoky sauce. Here in the heart of America, we'd break open a package of good ole' squishy white bread, slather it up with Mollie B's BBQ Sauce, pile on a heap of Miss Mollie's brisket and call it a perfect day!
